JOB TITLE: Live Orchestral Personnel Manager
TERMS: 10 Hours per week with potential for overtime
CONTRACT: Beginning July 2023, initially a fixed-term 1-year contract with a 3-month review
LINE MANAGER: Executive Live Producer
REMUNERATION: £18 per hour
London Contemporary Orchestra (LCO) has established itself as one of the UK’s most innovative and respected ensembles – promoting the best new music and cross-arts collaborations to an increasingly wide audience. Formed in 2008 by co-Artistic Directors Robert Ames and Hugh Brunt, the LCO has collaborated with a distinguished array of composers, artists and brands. LCO is pleased to recruit for the specially-created role of Live Orchestral Personnel Manager – working to support the delivery of its live calendar (a total of 22 projects in 2023), including concerts, tours, and commercial events.
Coming at an exciting and pivotal time for the LCO, the Live Orchestral Personnel Manager will fulfil an essential role at the heart of the organisation, helping it to develop Its player pool and successfully execute an increasing number of high profile live shows. The Orchestral Personnel Manager will work remotely on a day-to-day basis and attend meetings with co-Artistic Director Robert Ames and Executive Live Producer Saloni Thakkar in Central London.
