Programme Leader: MA/MFA Choreography

Contract: Full-time or part-time, permanent dependent on teaching allocation + programme leadership hours
Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is seeking a capable, experienced and dynamic individual to lead the MA and MFA Choreography programmes. You will have experience of leading and managing programmes of work / projects in higher education
alongside a recognised profile as a creative artist and/or a profile as an academic, with extensive experience in creative and artistic practice.
You should be actively engaged in the dance sector, with substantial experience of lecturing at HE level. You will have gained your PhD within the last few years, or be close to completing it and/or have equivalent recognition and acknowledged standing as a creative artist. Trinity Laban encourages staff to engage in research and scholarly activity.
The Programme Leader will have overall responsibility for the leadership, management and day-to-day running of the MA and MFA Choreography programmes, ensuring that they continue to be innovative, inclusive, and reflect the needs of the sector, as well as maintaining currency in the wider field of postgraduate arts education. The role will include lecturing and supervising at postgraduate and undergraduate level. To be successful you will evidence your expertise and subject knowledge through your qualifications and experience. You will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and show a commitment to establishing collaborative and innovative work within Trinity Laban and with stakeholders.
