Association of British Orchestras

Programmes Manager

Orchestras for All £25,000 – £28,000 Closing date 10 January 2022
Orchestras for All is looking for a Programmes Manager to manage the National Orchestra for All (NOFA), the UK’s only completely inclusive, non-auditioned national youth orchestra in the country which brings together 100 inspiring young musicians who wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to make music with others. The role will also manage youth voice and ownership – empowering young people’s perspectives to be heard at every stage of our planning.

The charity has a strong track record in continuing to deliver and develop its events throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and not see the restrictions as yet another barrier to music making for young people nationwide.

The Programmes Manager will build strong relationships with hard-to-reach families and young people, supporting each NOFA member to overcome specific access barriers, and ensuring their attendance and inclusion at each event and activity. They are also responsible for the budget management of NOFA and, with support from research partners, carrying out the programme's impact and evaluation work.
