Project Manager
ASKONAS HOLT LTD £35,000 - £40,000 Closing date 21 February 2022
To work as a part of a team to deliver tours for a wide variety of orchestras & ensembles, artist-led projects, and dance companies. The Project Manager will initiate and manage tours & special projects, and provide strategic guidance for our Touring Partners in their touring activities.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Understands the different elements involved in initiating and organising Tours from inception to completion for a range of Touring Partners
• Develops and retains trusted long-term relationships with Touring Partners, including advising on and developing touring strategy
• Contributes actively to the cohesion and development of the department with new ideas and new projects
• Manages efficiently a high volume of workload and many clients simultaneously
• Negotiates and resolves complex agreements between stakeholders, and provides creative solutions to problems in advance of, and during, Tours
• Travels extensively, as needed for Tours and business meetings, confidently managing all elements of Tours on the road
• Directs the work of associated Project Administrators and communicates regularly and effectively with other members of the Team, as needed
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU
• Strong, relevant experience in selling and setting-up projects, preferably with orchestras, dance companies, venues or festivals, or in a related business;
• An ability to integrate quickly and smoothly into a team, be a motivated, effective team-player, have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• An ability to be pro-active, well-organised and able to meet deadlines;
• An ability to focus concurrently on many different projects, recognising the importance of timelines;
• A willingness to travel regularly - this position involves a considerable amount of travel;
• The ability to represent Askonas Holt and our Touring Partners all over the world, as well as acting as an ambassador for our prestigious roster of artists.
