Projects Manager

Sage Gateshead £24,972 pro rata, per annum Closing date 13 July 2021
Work with the Senior Producer to ensure the successful delivery of the full range of RNS activity both at SG, across the region/nationally and internationally - leading on logistical and operational planning and contributing to project development. Acting as a proactive centre for communication regarding a range of internal and external relationships and taking a lead role in executing the vision for the classical programme including creative projects – both digital and live - and classical concert formats. The Projects Manager should expect to play a lead role in the delivery of concert, project and orchestral creative learning work, attending rehearsals and working closely with the musicians and team involved on delivery days. This is one of two Projects Manager roles, sitting within the classical team of 13 people at Sage Gateshead (SG), including the work of Royal Northern Sinfonia (RNS). The Projects Manager is key to developing and delivering projects, turning ideas into well thought-through plans, communicating appropriately across the organisation, and seeing those plans to delivery, with an eye to the future. This role may particularly suit someone who has experience of audience development and/or creative learning projects in the classical music industry.
