Association of British Orchestras

Senior Marketing Manager

London Mozart Players £36,000 Closing date 28 February 2022
London Mozart Players (LMP) is seeking a strategic, imaginative and resourceful Senior Marketing Manager to join its dynamic and close-knit Management Team. LMP prides itself on punching above its weight in the UK’s cultural landscape, and now needs a Senior Marketing Manager to build on five years of momentum to take the orchestra to the next level. Creative, data-driven and customer-focused in equal measure, the successful applicant will need to have up-to-date knowledge of best practice in current marketing as well as the drive and desire to shape and influence the story, voice and visual of this well-established chamber orchestra.

This is a hands-on role where inspiring and creative ideas as well as excellent organisation skills are a pre-requisite. Plate-spinning experience is particularly welcomed.

No two days are ever the same for the LMP marketing team, and the Senior Marketing Manager will lead on all aspects of marketing. You could be writing flyer copy for Sheku Kanneh-Mason’s next LMP concert, briefing our freelance PR on our new concert series at St-Martin-in-the-Fields, discussing ideas for the week’s social media, storyboarding a trailer for our next online filmed concert, leading a brainstorm for our next season at Fairfield Halls, drafting an e-newsletter to our database of followers and LMP Friends, penning briefing notes for royalty, running analytics for a recent marketing campaign, or even chilling the prosecco for a concert at St John’s.

This role reports directly into our Chief Executive, Flynn Le Brocq. You’ll have overall responsibility for leading and supporting our Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager who both have key roles in delivering our marketing and communications activities. You will be working alongside our Fundraising, Operations, Education & Outreach and Orchestra Managers.
