Central London – Senior Policy and Campaigns Officer

Permanent and Full Time –£40K

The ISM is looking for a dynamic and proactive policy officer who is also skilled in campaigning to add strength to our high profile lobbying on Brexit, music education and copyright. The ISM’s advocacy is second to none and we are now looking for an extremely committed individual who will go the extra mile developing our expertise in specific policy areas. The campaigning will focus on halting the damage which Brexit is causing the music sector, delivering positive change in music education and ensuring that creatives are properly remunerated.

The ISM has seen significant growth in terms of its membership over recent years which now stands at over 11,000 members and much of this growth has been driven by its campaigning. You will be able to demonstrate significant effectiveness in lobbying and advocacy with at least 5 years policy and campaigns experience. You will have sound political judgement, excellent written and interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.

You will be joining a professional staff team who are based in Bayswater, London but are currently following a hybrid model of work.

Closing date is Monday 15 November at 9.30. Interviews will be held shortly thereafter.
