Technology Administrator
Royal College of Music Grade 4, £24,089 - £26,278 per annum. Normally appointed to the first point of the grade. Closing date 10 May 2022

We are seeking a Technology Administrator to join the RCM Digital department, which provides IT and audio-visual services to all members of the RCM as well as closely supporting numerous teaching, learning, performance and research activities. This makes it a lively and friendly environment where interpersonal relationships play a crucial role in making everything happen. The postholder will be:
• Acting as the first point of contact for students, staff and professors, external users and visitors to the digital department, dealing with face to face, telephone and email enquiries
• Working closely with members of the IT team to open, log, escalate and close IT support calls through the Helpdesk system
• Dealing with loans of audio-visual equipment for students and staff
The successful candidate will have good working knowledge of a wide range of technologies including Microsoft Office software, PC and Mac hardware, mobile devices and apps. You will be highly organised, with strong prioritisation and customer service skills and have an enthusiasm for helping people solve technical problems. Demonstrable understanding and appreciation of music (including classical music), music technology and the needs of musicians is preferable.
This post is offered on a permanent, full-time, basis and is available from May 2022.
