Ticketing and Events Officer

The Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the UK’s leading orchestras, seeks a highly-motivated Ticketing and Events Officer, to play a key role in our activities.
The chosen candidate will assist and work under instruction from the Chief Operating Officer and other Directors.
We are looking for a highly-organised, conscientious and friendly person who is willing to work on their own initiative and as part of a small team. The main responsibility is to run the Orchestra’s Box Office during our concert season, including up to 40 concerts as well as masterclasses, workshops and family concerts
The orchestra also puts on a number of high-profile events each year, and the successful candidate will be responsible for handling invitations, processing RSVPs, creating guest lists, putting together seating plans and organising logistics for such events.
The orchestra organises a week-long residential Piano Festival in Oxford every summer. The successful candidate will co-ordinate the Festival and liaise with all those attending.
The position is currently remote and flexible, but will be based in our London office once reopened full time.
Occasional travel to Oxford will be required. Some evening and weekend work will be necessary for concerts and fundraising events.
