Tours & Concerts Manager
Monteverdi Choir & Orchestras Competitive Closing date 19 September 2022
The three Monteverdi ensembles – the Monteverdi Choir, English Baroque Soloists and Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique – are a leading force on the international music scene. World-class musicians and singers from many nationalities come together to share in the distinctive vision of our founder and music director, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, in ground-breaking projects that span eight centuries of musical masterpieces.
This is an exciting time for an outstanding Tours & Concerts Manager to work with our busy team as we embark on delivering ambitious international projects including Beethoven’s Missa solemnis and Bach’s Christmas Oratorio; next year will include concert performances of Berlioz’s Les Troyens and a transatlantic tour of Bach’s Mass in B minor, before we embark on an exciting range of projects in 2024 to coincide with the Choir’s 60th anniversary.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in successfully managing the smooth running of concerts and tours and come with a thorough understanding of the creative and logistical process of international concert production and the personnel management of a touring group. They will be highly organised and come with honed problem-solving skills, initiative and boundless energy.
