Scottish Ensemble is a pioneering group of outstanding musicians. A registered charity, our ambition is to be a beacon for Scottish creativity at home and internationally.
Following the recent appointment of James Hardie as Chief Executive, and confirmation of Multi Year Funding from Creative Scotland across 2025-28, Scottish Ensemble is looking confidently to the future. We are seeking to appoint up to four Trustees to support our mission, with expertise in fundraising; marketing and communications; HR and/or legal; and global cultural networks.
Trustees are appointed on a renewable three year term. Roles are undertaken on a voluntary basis, and reasonable travel expenses can be offered, noting SE’s commitment to sustainable travel options. The Board meets four times per year in Glasgow or online, with an annual Away Day.
