London Sinfonietta Unpaid roles Closing date 16 June 2023
The London Sinfonietta seeks new Council Members/Trustees for 23/24 Season.

The London Sinfonietta Council/Board of Trustees ensures that the activities of the charitable company (Sinfonietta Productions Ltd) meet public benefit requirements. It currently includes 10 members: six independents with a range of background and experience, the Chief Executive and two Principal Players.

We are now looking to recruit new Board Members who will enjoy giving their time and energy to support the organisation as it embarks on a new and exciting stage of development. No previous board experience is necessary. Although the positions are unpaid, the role will provide post-holders with opportunities to grow and develop their own leadership and career aspirations.

We are very keen to hear from those with a wide range of experiences, backgrounds and skillsets and we encourage applications from those beyond the music or creative arts sectors. The areas in which we particularly seek support for the next phase of the London Sinfonietta’s ambitions are:

Business development and change management
Fundraising and growing and diversifying our income base
Communications and demonstrating impact
Audience development and marketing, including via data-driven insight

For further information please visit Here you can download the Trustee Recruitment pack to view the Role Specification, Responsibilities and further information about the organisation.

Application is via CV and supporting letter, outlining why you wish to join us and how you feel your contribution would be of value to the London Sinfonietta's Council. This should be no longer than two sides of A4 paper, and should be emailed to

The closing date for applications is 12 noon, Friday 16 June 2023.
