Trusts and Foundations Manager- Part Time

The CBSO is looking to appoint an ambitious and self-motivated individual to the role of Trusts and Foundations Manager. Working closely with the Director of Development the Trusts and Foundations Manager will play a central role within the CBSO's Development Team developing and implementing the trusts and foundations strategy to generate maximum income from grant-giving organisations.

Essential skills:
- Ability to research, identify and establish relationships with new funders.
- Ability to communicate confidently and respectfully with a diverse range of people of different ages, backgrounds, and positions of responsibility.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with an ability to convey detailed information in a compelling way
- Attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
- Excellent knowledge of Trusts and Foundations, their techniques, principles, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborative approach to working with colleagues and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload, often with multiple ongoing tasks and competing deadlines.

Desirable skills:
- Passion for classical music.
- Familiarity with Tessitura database system.
- Experience of devising and implementing a trust and foundation strategy.
