Wellbeing Team
Orchestras for All £150 per day Closing date 13 June 2022
Do you have a passion for working with young people in a creative setting? Do you have experience supporting young people who face barriers accessing the Arts?
Orchestras for All is looking for wellbeing team members to join its pool of freelancers, who will work with us at National Orchestra for All (NOFA) events and residentials, supporting the personal and social development of NOFA musicians.
The NOFA wellbeing team provide a pivotal role in supporting NOFA members during residential and online courses. They are friendly, positive and nurturing and adopt OFA’s organisational values in practice: they work inclusively, viewing their role to be to unlock the potential of every NOFA member, collaborating with OFA staff and volunteer team, and nurturing ownership in the musicians themselves.
We would encourage applications from individuals with experience of supporting young people with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges (especially social or pandemic anxiety) or neurodivergent young people (especially autism). We’d also welcome experience in speech or language therapy, occupational therapy, youth work in a residential setting, mentoring and coaching.
Remuneration: £150 per day
Application deadline: Monday 13th June, 09.00am
Interviews: Thursday 16th June
