Annual Conference 2021
Wednesday, 10 March 2021 - Friday, 12 March 2021
Thank you for your interest in attending the ABO Conference which takes place online between 10 – 12 March 2021. The deadline for bookings for the ABO Conference has officially closed, but we are still able to accept late bookings at an extra rate. We remain open for booking for the free pre-conference summit on Wednesday 10 March - we are particularly keen for musicians to attend.
We are still accepting bookings for the Fundraising Quiz in aid of Help Musicians on Thursday 11 March, 6pm to 7.30pm.
An information to delegates email will be sent to all attendees on 3 March containing details on how to access the conference platform.
We encourage you to read this information before completing the booking form below.
The opening afternoon of the Conference on Wednesday 10 March is supported by Help Musicians and is a series of sessions curated for musicians and managers. There is no charge for attendance at these sessions, but you will still need to book your place via the website to ensure we have all the correct details for you. For the sessions on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 March, there is a members rate and a non-members rate for attendance. Your digital pass will allow access across the two days for one individual member of staff to attend. It is not possible to transfer digital passes between staff members over the two days and this year we unfortunately cannot offer place shares for attendance. If you are an ABO member, you will need to log in to the Members Area of the website to obtain the member rates for your digital pass - if you are not logged in and subsequently make payment by card at the non-member rate we may not be able to process your refund until after the conference has taken place. The booking form is the same as last year and so multiple places can be booked at the same time by one member of your team if that is how you usually book to attend the conference. If you are unsure if you have a log in to the website then please email email@example.com
but please note that if you receive mailings from us then you do have a log in and can request a password reset in the Members Area if required.
Please note that this year due to the opening afternoon being free to attend, we are not able to offer reduced rates for attendance on the Thursday and Friday. All bookings made on the website will produce a confirmation receipt at the end of the booking process which you can download to confirm the bookings you have made. This should also act as a VAT receipt but please do contact us if you need a separate receipt for bookings made using Stripe Payment. If you have any queries about your booking please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that as we continue to work remotely and due to having moved offices over the summer, we do not currently have the facility to take card payments over the phone this year. Payment for attendance at the conference will ideally need to be made by bank transfer or paying online at the time of booking through Stripe payment. Details for making international payments can be provided. Payment can also be made by cheque which should be sent to our new address: Association of British Orchestras, West Wing, Somerset House, Strand, London, WC2R 1LA
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact the ABO team. We look forward to you joining us online!
