Introduction:
This practical workshop covers various aspects of effectively managing and working with creative people. The workshop shows delegates the most effective ways of deepening colleagues’ creativity whilst aligning it to the needs of employing organisations. Delegates will meet creatives named Wobbly, Molotov, Facilitator, Solo, Artiste and You. Through them, key ways of helping delegates approach some tricky issues will be revealed: creatives in teams; deadlines, motivation, facilitating creative projects and necessary chaos.

Suitable for:
Orchestra and theatre managers, others who manage and work with musicians, theatre professionals, artists and other creative people.

Learning outcomes:
Delegates will:
· Understand how creativity works, how it can be deepened and how organisations often undermine it;
· Recognise different interpersonal styles creatives often exhibit, and will know how to work with each constructively;
· Learn how to link the ambitions of the organisation as a whole to those of their individual creative colleagues;
· Appreciate how their own creativity affects the colleagues he /she works with.
