Development Coordinator

The LSO is looking for an individual with excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail, who has an interest in developing an overall understanding of fundraising in the performing arts sector from a variety of sources. An interest in orchestral/classical music is desirable. The Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the fundraising and donor engagement activity across the Development Team, with a strong focus on database management as well as general administrative support to the team.
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate donor records, processing gifts, generating reports, driving prospect meetings and ensuring the development team has the data and analytics to support their fundraising streams, as well as undertaking research projects. Furthermore, the coordinator will also support fundraising processes throughout funders’ and major donors’ overall giving journeys (stewardship). This will include writing thank you letters, assisting with the evaluation and reporting for projects that have been funded, and providing effective administrative help across the team, including processing grants and maintaining accurate financial records.
