Head of Development

Chromatica Orchestra seeks a personable and creative Head of Development who excels at meaningful relationship development and is passionate about engaging people in our mission.
We are an exciting, bold new orchestra: our musicians are early-career artists with the energy and social purpose to inspire and energise audiences.
We would like the Head of Development to focus on developing two income streams to support the orchestra:
1. Building and developing our major gifts programme from individuals, working closely with our Chairman
2. Creating an active community for support at all levels who are encouraged to enjoy, share and celebrate our commitment to music making.

Location: This is a remote freelance contract. Due to the nature of the work, there will be regular in-person meetings, concerts and events in London, which the successful candidate will be expected to attend as required.
Hours: The successful candidate is responsible for managing their own working hours in order to deliver the agreed scope of work. However we envisage the role requiring approximately 16 - 24 hours per week.
Salary: A freelance fee equivalent to £40,000 per annum pro rata is available for this role.
