Ellen is the Head of Media Disputes at Hamlins LLP with extensive experience of representing high-profile clients in the media and entertainment industries, ranging from renowned individuals in the music and sports worlds to national broadcasting and recording companies. She is a Solicitor-Advocate and was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2018. She is recognised as Recommended Lawyer for Reputation Management by the Legal 500 and Spear’s 500 Reputation Index.

Ellen advises clients on all aspects of media law, including privacy, data protection, defamation and harassment.

Prior to re-training as a lawyer, Ellen worked for many years in the music sector (including English National Opera and Opera North), where she gained valuable first-hand knowledge of the issues facing the creative industries.

Ellen joined the ABO Board in 2019.
