
Jack Fearn
Membership and Operations Manager,

Jack is a creative producer and project manager with experience across learning, development and community programmes. His extensive background encompasses work in schools, higher education institutions, orchestras, and charitable organisations. He has a passion for enabling first experiences of live music and increasing accessibility and inclusivity within the sector.
Jack joined the ABO as Membership and Operations Manager in July 2025, following roles at Live Music Now supporting musicians’ development, recruitment and accessibility projects, as well as delivery across northeast England and the nationwide Music in Health programme. He began his career in Manchester working for The Hallé’s education department, developing inspiring projects and performances for thousands of young people, communities and merging artists across the north of England. Since then, he has supported young and emerging artists through advanced training programmes at Trinity Laban and emerging artist fellowships with Sinfonia Smith Square (formerly Southbank Sinfonia). Jack also works as a freelance project manager for community and education programmes alongside the ABO.
Beyond his professional endeavours, he can be found playing in big bands, klezmer jams and orchestral performances across the city, as well as supporting digital access and inclusivity through support sessions with the charity CatBytes.
Jack has a degree in music from The University of Manchester.
