London Symphony Orchestra violinist Lennox Mackenzie has been awarded the RPS/ABO Salomon Prize for orchestral musicians for his “innate ability, love of music, generosity of spirit” and his “wisdom, strength of character, good judgement and diplomacy that has served the LSO well over so many years”.

The report shows the phenomenal achievements of the nation’s leading orchestras as they delivered more than 4,000 concerts and reached almost 5 million attendees and 900,000 children and young people amidst a 5% drop in total income.
