Student and Under-30s discount

The ABO welcomes students and early-career professionals seeking to advance their careers in the arts and orchestral sector, while connecting and learning within our community. To support new voices, we offer special discounted rates for students exploring opportunities in the orchestral sector, as well as delegates under 30 attending the conference for the first time.

To qualify for these reduced rates, after booking you must submit the form below to upload a valid student ID or proof of age. If valid ID/proof is not submitted, the ABO reserves the right to cancel any bookings or issue an invoice for the difference to cover the full delegate rate of the chosen ticket.

Please note: the Student/Under-30s conference tickets do not include access to the Conference First Night or the Concert Tickets (available to purchase separately).

Criteria for Application - Under-30s

You must be:

aged 30 or under at the time of the ABO conference (4-6 January 2026)
attending the ABO conference for the first time
a staff member of an ABO Member organisation
attending in addition to other full delegates from your organisation

You must be a student at a recognised UK education institution or college
You must provide a Student ID card valid at the time of the ABO conference (4-6 January 2026)

Once we have confirmed your eligibility then any documents containing your personal information will be deleted.
